Granite Falls Tigers (Granite Falls, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Sultan Turks (Sultan, WA), 18-0 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Marysville Getchell for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 5. Granite Falls will face a squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Archbishop Murphy (Everett, WA). The record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Sultan falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Turks host South Whidbey (Langley, WA) to face the Falcons in a 1A Emerald Sound challenge on Monday, May 9. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. South Whidbey won 11-6 in their recent league challenge against Sultan (Sultan, WA)
