Rockford Auburn Knights (Rockford, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 12-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harlem for a Northern Illinois NIC-9 challenge on Monday, May 9.

With the loss, Jefferson falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The J-hawks travel to Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL) to face the Blue Thunder in a Northern Illinois NIC-9 challenge on Friday, May 6.
