In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Lowellville Rockets (Lowellville, OH) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Leetonia Bears (Leetonia, OH), by a margin of 11-1.
With the triumph, Lowellville moves its record to 5-5 on the year.
In their next game, the Bears play the East Palestine Bulldogs (East Palestine, OH) in a Eastern Ohio Athletic contest, on Thursday, May 5. Leetonia will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 5-11 record after their 10-0 league loss to Columbiana (Columbiana, OH).
