North Carolina High School Softball - North Lenoir bounces Southwest Onslow

May 4, 2022: LaGrange, NC 28551

The North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC) softball routed the visiting Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC), 11-1 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Hawks (8-10) will now prepare for their bout against Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC). The Bulldogs go into the East Central 2A bout with a 9-10 record. In their last bout, Wallace-Rose Hill was routed by South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC), 7-0, in a league bout.

The Stallions now possess a 3-17 record. They play next when they travel to Kinston for a East Central 2A bout on Friday, May 6. Southwest Onslow will confront a Vikings squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 0-12.
