The South Salem Saxons softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Summit Storm to 0 in the Saxons league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, South Salem moves its record to 14-5 on the year. The Saxons host McKay (Salem, OR) to clash with the Royal Scots in a 6A Mountain Valley game on Tuesday, May 10. The Royal Scots come into the game with a record of 0-13. McKay lost 19-0 in their recent league game against Bend (Bend, OR)

In their next game, the Storm clash with the West Salem Titans (Salem, OR) in a 6A Mountain Valley game, on Saturday, May 7. Summit will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Titans come into the game with a 7-10 record after their 10-6 league loss to South Salem (Salem, OR).
