In Thursday's league game, the visiting St. Francis Fighting Saints baseball team scored a tight 13-9 victory over the Big Lake Hornets.
The Fighting Saints (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN). The Bluejackets go into the Mississippi 8 game with a 0-2 record.
The Hornets (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Zimmerman (Zimmerman, MN). The Thunder go into the non-league game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Zimmerman was overwhelmed by Becker (Becker, MN), 8-2, in a non-league game.
