West Lauderdale Knights (Collinsville, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Corinth Warriors (Corinth, MS), 6-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, West Lauderdale upgrades its record to 17-4 on the season. The Knights host South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 9. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 23-5. South Pontotoc won 7-4 in their recent non-league test against Caledonia (Caledonia, MS)

With the defeat, Corinth falls to 8-7 on the season.
