In Thursday's non-league game, the host John Marshall Monarchs baseball team scored a tight 6-4 victory over the St. Clairsville Red Devils.
The Monarchs (10-13) will now prepare for their game against Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 18-6 record.
The Red Devils (13-7) will now prepare for their game against Harrison Central (Cadiz, OH). The Huskies go into the Buckeye 8 game with a 10-7 record.
