The Marion Black Knights nudged the visiting Lyons Lions baseball team by a tally of 7-6 in Thursday's league bout.
The Black Knights now hold a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Naples for a non-league bout on Friday, May 5. Marion will face a Big Green Machines team coming off a 12-2 league loss to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NY). The Big Green Machines record now stands at 6-4.
Next, the Lions face the Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles (Clyde, NY) in a Section 5 Wayne County bout, on Friday, May 5. Lyons will attempt to advance on its 0-11 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the bout with a 3-8 record after their 10-0 league loss to Sodus (Sodus, NY).
