Illinois High School Baseball - Reed-Custer sneaks past Manteno

Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) and the visiting Manteno Panthers (Manteno, IL), saw Reed-Custer's baseball squad edge Manteno by a count of 2-1.

Coming up next, the Comets play the Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 6. Reed-Custer will attempt to move on its 19-5 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 13-10 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL).
