The Pearl River Pirates crushed the host Nanuet Golden Knights baseball team by a count of 8-1 in Thursday's league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host Riverside for a non-league bout on Saturday, May 6. Pearl River will face a Rams team coming off a 13-12 non-league loss to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, NY). The Rams record now stands at 0-6.
Next, the Golden Knights face the Hendrick Hudson Sailors (Montrose, NY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 8. Nanuet will attempt to move on its 2-12 season record. The Sailors enter the bout with a 7-11 record after their 6-0 league loss to Somers (Lincolndale, NY).
