Arborbrook Christian Academy Falcons (Matthews, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC), 3-2 in a non-league match.

With the loss, Covenant Day drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC) to clash with the Mavericks in a non-league match on Friday, May 5. The Mavericks come into the match with a record of 10-0. Marvin Ridge won 3-1 in their recent league match against Sun Valley (Monroe, NC)
