The Vianney Golden Griffins volleyball team (Kirkwood, MO), went down 3-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host De Smet Jesuit Spartans (St. Louis, MO)

The Spartans (28-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mehlville (St. Louis, MO). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 13-13 record. In their last challenge, Mehlville went down by Marquette (Chesterfield, MO), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Golden Griffins encounter the Webster Groves Statesmen (Webster Groves, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 5. Vianney will attempt to move on its 11-12 season record. The Statesmen enter the challenge with a 15-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Eureka (Eureka, MO).
