The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Malden Golden Tornados (Malden, MA) and the host Wakefield Memorial Warriors (Wakefield, MA), saw Malden's volleyball squad beat Wakefield Memorial by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Malden upgrades its record to 9-3 on the year. The Golden Tornados travel to Lynn Classical (Lynn, MA) to play the Rams in a bout on Monday, May 8. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Lynn Classical won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Pioneer Charter School of Science II (Saugus, MA)

The Warriors now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Lexington for a Middlesex bout on Tuesday, May 9. Wakefield Memorial will play a Minutemen squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Woburn Memorial (Woburn, MA). The Minutemen record now stands at 7-4.
