In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Glenn Bobcats soccer squad scored a close 5-1 win over the Birch Run Panthers.

The Bobcats (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Frankenmuth (Frankenmuth, MI). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Frankenmuth nudged Calvary Baptist Academy (Midland, MI), 4-1, in a non-league test.

With the loss, Birch Run drops to 2-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Kingsford (Kingsford, MI) to meet the Flivvers in a non-league test on Saturday, May 6. The Flivvers come into the test with a record of 0-1.
