Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions face the Colorado Academy Mustangs (Denver, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 6. Lutheran will attempt to better on its 13-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Grandview (Aurora, CO).
The Mustangs now have a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Liberty Common for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 6. Mullen will face a Eagles team coming off a 7-0 league win over Weld Central (Keenesburg, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 11-3.
