In Thursday's league test, the visiting Waterford Lancers lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Fitch Falcons.
The Lancers now have a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Branford for a non-league test on Saturday, May 6. Waterford will face a Hornets squad coming off a 18-8 league loss to Foran (Milford, CT). The Hornets record now stands at 1-10.
In their next game, the Falcons face the North Haven Nighthawks (North Haven, CT) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 6. Fitch will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Nighthawks come into the test with a 6-4 record after their 7-3 league loss to Sheehan (Wallingford, CT).
