The Abbott RVT Wolverines (Danbury, CT) softball the host Goodwin Tech Gladiators (New Britain, CT), 20-18 in Thursday's league bout.
The Wolverines (5-8) will now prepare for their bout against Weston (Weston, CT). The Trojans go into the non-league bout with a 4-11 record. In their last bout, Weston by New Milford (New Milford, CT), 15-2, in a league bout.
The Gladiators now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Wilcox RVT for a Connecticut Tech bout on Friday, May 5. Goodwin Tech will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 28-12 league win over Cheney RVT (Manchester, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-4.
