Spectators at Thursday's league match between the John Jay Patriots (Hopewell Junction, NY) and the visiting Arlington Admirals (LaGrangeville, NY), witnessed John Jay's softball squad tip Arlington by a count of 2-1.

The Patriots now sport a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Hendrick Hudson for a non-league match on Monday, May 8. John Jay will meet a Sailors squad coming off a 10-2 league win over Lakeland (Shrub Oak, NY). The Sailors record now stands at 11-4.
