The Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders softball team (Ashton, IL), was routed 20-1 in Thursday's league test with the visiting Forreston Cardinals (Forreston, IL)

Coming up next, the Cardinals encounter the River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats (Hanover, IL) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 8. Forreston will attempt to improve on its 18-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 6-15 record after their 5-4 league win over West Carroll (Savanna, IL).

The Raiders (1-14) will now prepare for their test against Alden-Hebron (Hebron, IL). The Green Giants come into the non-league test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Alden-Hebron overcame Christian Liberty (Arlington Heights, IL), 24-7, in a non-league test.
