The Bellefontaine Chieftains softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Tecumseh Arrows to 0 in the Chieftains league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Bellefontaine moves its record to 11-12 on the year. The Chieftains host Graham Local (St. Paris, OH) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league game on Friday, May 5. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 10-13. Graham Local won 14-5 in their recent league game against Northwestern (Springfield, OH)

In their next game, the Arrows clash with the North Union Wildcats (Richwood, OH) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 5. Tecumseh will attempt to move on its 1-16 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 17-3 record after their 6-2 league win over Benjamin Logan (Bellefontaine, OH).
