Bishop Feehan Shamrocks (Attleboro, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Shamrocks now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Taunton for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 6. Bishop Feehan will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over King Philip Regional (Wrentham, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-0.
With the loss, Braintree falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Wamps travel to Milton (Milton, MA) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 8. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
