The Catawba Ridge Copperheads the visiting Midland Valley Mustangs softball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Copperheads (19-3) will now prepare for their battle against Greenwood (Greenwood, SC). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Greenwood held off South Aiken (Aiken, SC), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
The Mustangs now possess a 15-8 record. They play next when they host Lancaster for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 6. Midland Valley will meet a Bruins squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over South Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Bruins record now stands at 3-7.
