Ohio High School Softball - Shelby bounces Clear Fork

May 4, 2023: Bellville, OH 44813

Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Shelby Whippets (Shelby, OH) and the host Clear Fork Colts (Bellville, OH), witnessed Shelby's softball squad tip Clear Fork by a count of 15-10.

The Whippets now sport a 12-10 record. They play next when they host Huron for a non-league match on Monday, May 8. Shelby will face a Tigers squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over St. Joseph Central Catholic (Fremont, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 15-5.

With the loss, Clear Fork moves to 13-7 on the season. The Colts host Lexington (Lexington, OH) to face the Minutemen in a non-league match on Friday, May 5. The Minutemen go into the match with a record of 4-8. Lexington lost 16-3 in their recent league match against West Holmes (Millersburg, OH)
