Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Blue Devils now own a 4-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Courtland for a Battlefield challenge on Tuesday, May 9. Culpeper County will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 12-7 league win over Caroline (Milford, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, James Monroe falls to 1-13 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets travel to Eastern View (Culpeper, VA) to battle the Cyclones in a Battlefield challenge on Monday, May 8. The Cyclones enter the challenge with a record of 6-9. Eastern View won 16-15 in their recent league challenge against Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA)
