The Cougars now own a 11-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hersey for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 6. Vernon Hills will battle a Huskies squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 13-5.

With the loss, Deerfield falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Warriors host Waukegan (Waukegan, IL) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 10. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 3-10.
