Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA) and the visiting Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA), witnessed Dinwiddie's softball squad tip Prince George by a count of 10-5.

The Generals now sport a 15-1 record. They play next when they travel to Petersburg for a Central match on Tuesday, May 9. Dinwiddie will face a Crimson Wave squad coming off a 28-18 league win over Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA). The Crimson Wave record now stands at 3-11.

With the loss, Prince George moves to 9-8 on the season. The Royals host Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA) to face the Warriors in a Central match on Tuesday, May 9. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 13-4. Matoaca won 7-5 in their recent league match against Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA)
