In Thursday's league contest, the Summerfield Bulldogs (Petersburg, MI) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Erie-Mason Eagles (Erie, MI), by a margin of 12-1.

With the triumph, Summerfield moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Whiteford (Ottawa Lake, MI) to play the Bobcats in a Tri-County contest on Wednesday, May 17. The Bobcats come into the contest with a record of 15-1.
