The Mentor Cardinals softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Euclid Panthers to 0 in the Cardinals league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Mentor improves its record to 8-10 on the year. The Cardinals host Brunswick (Brunswick, OH) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Greater Cleveland game on Friday, May 5. The Blue Devils come into the game with a record of 12-4. Brunswick won 15-5 in their recent non-league game against St. Joseph Academy (Cleveland, OH)
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Strongsville Mustangs (Strongsville, OH) in a Greater Cleveland game, on Friday, May 5. Euclid will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record.
