Tennessee High School Softball - Rhea County bounces Sequoyah

The Rhea County Golden Eagles (Evensville, TN) softball routed the visiting Sequoyah Chiefs (Madisonville, TN), 13-3 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Golden Eagles (8-8) will now prepare for their bout against McMinn County (Athens, TN). The Cherokees go into the 4A District 5 bout with a 10-3 record. In their last bout, McMinn County toppled Ooltewah (Ooltewah, TN), 11-1, in a league bout.
The Chiefs now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Fulton for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 13. Sequoyah will confront a Falcons squad coming off a 16-7 non-league loss to South-Doyle (Knoxville, TN). The Falcons record now stands at 6-6.
