Connecticut High School Softball - Mercy bounces Lauralton Hall

The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Mercy Tigers (Middletown, CT) and the host Lauralton Hall Crusaders (Milford, CT), saw Mercy's softball squad achieve victory over Lauralton Hall by a count of 23-9.

The Tigers now sport a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Hamden for a non-league match on Friday, May 5. Mercy will face a Green Dragons squad coming off a 19-6 non-league win over Hillhouse (New Haven, CT). The Green Dragons record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Lauralton Hall falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Branford (Branford, CT) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Saturday, May 6. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 2-11. Branford won 17-2 in their recent non-league match against Career Magnet (New Haven, CT)
