Winnebago Indians (Winnebago, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL), 16-1 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they host Dixon for a Big Northern challenge on Tuesday, May 9.

With the loss, Lutheran falls to 1-19 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Durand (Durand, IL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, May 5. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 9-7. Durand lost 4-1 in their recent league game against Pearl City (Pearl City, IL)
