Iola Bulldogs (Iola, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Big Sandy Wildcats (Dallardsville, TX), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Iola upgrades its record to 12-10 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Harper (Harper, TX) to battle the Longhorns in a non-league test on Friday, May 10. The Longhorns come into the test with a record of 18-4. Harper won 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Rosebud-Lott (Rosebud, TX)
With the defeat, Big Sandy falls to 16-11 on the season.
