The Jeffers Jets baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Calumet Copper Kings to 2 in the Jets non-league victory on Saturday.
The Jets (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Lake Linden-Hubbell (Lake Linden, MI). The Lakes go into the Copper Mountain match with a 0-4 record.
The Copper Kings (0-7) will now prepare for their match against Houghton (Houghton, MI). The Gremlins go into the non-league match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Houghton gained a win over Marquette (Marquette, MI), 12-11, in a non-league match.
