The Manzano Monarchs baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Capital Jaguars to 1 in the Monarchs league victory on Saturday.
The Monarchs (12-13) will now prepare for their match against Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Jaguars go into the 5A District 5 match with a 10-14 record. In their last match, Capital was overwhelmed by Cibola (Albuquerque, NM), 20-0, in a non-league match.
The Jaguars (10-15) will now prepare for their match against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs go into the 5A District 5 match with a 11-13 record. In their last match, Manzano ran past Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM), 13-9, in a league match.
