The Centennial Chargers baseball team scored 22 runs and limited the visiting Peoria Lions to 0 in the Chargers league victory on Saturday.

The Chargers (8-12) will now prepare for their match against Urbana (Urbana, IL). The Tigers go into the Big Twelve match with a 3-18 record. In their last match, Urbana was overwhelmed by Centennial (Champaign, IL), 11-9, in a league match.

The Lions (2-16) will now prepare for their match against Peoria Notre Dame (Peoria, IL). The Irish go into the Big Twelve match with a 15-8 record. In their last match, Peoria Notre Dame was overwhelmed by Limestone (Bartonville, IL), 6-1, in a non-league match.
