The South Bend Clay Colonials baseball team (South Bend, IN), was overwhelmed 13-3 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting La Lumiere Lakers (La Porte, IN)
The Lakers now hold a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage Christian for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 7. La Lumiere will confront a Defenders team coming off a 19-1 non-league loss to Parkview Christian Academy (Yorkville, IL). The Defenders record now stands at 0-3.
Next, the Colonials confront the Jimtown Jimmies (Elkhart, IN) in a Northern Indiana outing, on Monday, May 6. South Bend Clay will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Jimmies go into the outing with a 13-6 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Fairfield (Goshen, IN).
