Westminster School Martlets (Simsbury, CT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans (Windsor, CT), 16-2 in a league test.

With the win, Westminster School upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Martlets travel to Deerfield Academy (Deerfield, MA) to battle the Big Green in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 8. The Big Green come into the test with a record of 14-4. Deerfield Academy won 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT)

With the defeat, Loomis Chaffee School falls to 6-9 on the season. The Pelicans host Stony Brook (Stony Brook, NY) to battle the Bears in a non-league test on Monday, May 6. The Bears come into the test with a record of 16-4. Stony Brook won 12-2 in their recent non-league test against Pope Francis Prep (Springfield, MA)
