New York High School Baseball - Plattsburgh defeats Peru

May 4, 2024: Peru, NY 12972

The Plattsburgh Hornets (Plattsburgh, NY) baseball trounced the host Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY), 19-11 in Saturday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Hornets play the Ticonderoga Sentinels (Ticonderoga, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I contest, on Tuesday, May 7. Plattsburgh will attempt to better on its 11-1 season record. The Sentinels enter the contest with a 5-2 record after their 7-3 league win over Peru (Peru, NY).

The Nighthawks now sport a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host AuSable Valley for a Section 7 Champlain Valley I contest on Tuesday, May 7. Peru will play a Patriots squad coming off a 14-2 league loss to Saranac (Saranac, NY). The Patriots record now stands at 3-6.
