The crowd at Saturday's league bout between the Algonquin Regional Titans (Northborough, MA) and the visiting Fitchburg Red Raiders (Fitchburg, MA), saw Algonquin Regional's volleyball squad beat Fitchburg by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Algonquin Regional upgrades its record to 2-5 on the year. The Titans travel to Framingham (Framingham, MA) to play the Flyers in a non-league bout on Saturday, May 4. The Flyers go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Framingham lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Burlington (Burlington, MA)

The Red Raiders now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Middlesex Regional for a bout on Monday, May 6. Fitchburg will play a Patriots squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Lowell Catholic (Lowell, MA). The Patriots record now stands at 10-4.
