The Hersey Huskies held off the host Maine South Hawks volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Huskies now have a 27-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buffalo Grove for a test on Tuesday, May 7. Hersey will confront a Bison team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL). The Bison record now stands at 18-11.

The Hawks (14-13) will now prepare for their test against New Trier (Winnetka, IL). The Trevians enter the Central Suburban South test with a 18-8 record. In their last test, New Trier held off Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
