Cardinal Mooney Cardinals (Youngstown, OH) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish (Akron, OH), 14-5 in a league battle.
The Cardinals now own a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they host Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 7. Cardinal Mooney will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Chagrin Falls (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Lions record now stands at 5-8.
In their next game, the Fighting Irish clash with the Highland Hornets (Medina, OH) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 6. St. Vincent-St. Mary will attempt to advance on its 6-5 season record. The Hornets come into the battle with a 6-9 record after their 14-11 non-league loss to Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH).
