Ellington Knights (Ellington, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the host South Windsor Bobcats (South Windsor, CT), 8-7 in a non-league battle.
The Knights now have a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Somers for a North Central Connecticut battle on Tuesday, May 7. Ellington will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 12-8 non-league win over Valley Regional (Deep River, CT). The Spartans record now stands at 5-3.
In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Enfield Eagles (Enfield, CT) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 7. South Windsor will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record.
