The Newton North Tigers walloped the visiting Newton South Lions lacrosse team by a final score of 13-2 in Saturday's non-league match.
With the win, Newton North betters its record to 1-0 on the season. The Tigers host Framingham (Framingham, MA) to play the Flyers in a South match on Thursday, May 9. The Flyers go into the match with a record of 0-1.
With the loss, Newton South falls to 1-9 on the year. The Lions travel to Belmont (Belmont, MA) to confront the Marauders in a non-league contest on Monday, May 6. The Marauders enter the contest with a record of 1-0. Belmont won 10-9 in their recent non-league contest against Billerica Memorial (Billerica, MA)
