New Berlin West Vikings (New Berlin, WI) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Whitnall Falcons (Greenfield, WI), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings confront the West Allis Central Bulldogs (West Allis, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 6. New Berlin West will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to New Berlin Eisenhower (New Berlin, WI).

The Falcons now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greenfield for a Woodland East challenge on Wednesday, May 8.
