The Golden Demons baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Standley Lake Gators to 2 in the Demons non-league victory on Saturday.

The Demons (9-1) will now prepare for their match against Pomona (Arvada, CO). The Panthers go into the match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Pomona was overwhelmed by Green Mountain (Lakewood, CO), 16-6, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, Standley Lake falls to 3-6 on the season. The Gators host Evergreen (Evergreen, CO) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 6-5.
