Next, the Dogies confront the Douglas Bearcats (Douglas, WY) in a 3A East challenge, on Tuesday, May 7. Newcastle will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 2-0 league loss to Buffalo (Buffalo, WY).

The Outlaws now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Worland for a 3A East challenge on Wednesday, May 8. Rawlins will confront a Warriors team coming off a 4-2 league win over Torrington (Torrington, WY). The Warriors record now stands at 11-2.
