New York High School Softball - Mexico loses to Chittenango

The Chittenango Bears softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Mexico Tigers to 3 in the Bears league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Chittenango improves its record to 8-1 on the year. The Bears travel to Westhill (Syracuse, NY) to clash with the Warriors in a Section 3 Liberty 1 game on Monday, May 6. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 6-2. Westhill won 22-1 in their recent league game against Homer (Homer, NY)
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Phoenix Firebirds (Phoenix, NY) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 6. Mexico will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Firebirds come into the game with a 3-7 record after their 16-1 league loss to Skaneateles (Skaneateles, NY).
