Minnesota High School Softball - Orono bounces DeLaSalle

The Orono Spartans (Long Lake, MN) softball routed the host DeLaSalle Islanders (Minneapolis, MN), 15-4 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Spartans (2-10) will now prepare for their bout against Jefferson (Bloomington, MN). The Jaguars go into the non-league bout with a 6-4 record. In their last bout, Jefferson toppled Chaska (Chaska, MN), 4-1, in a league bout.
The Islanders now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they host St. Anthony Village for a Tri-Metro bout on Tuesday, May 7. DeLaSalle will confront a Huskies squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Anoka (Anoka, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 7-3.
