The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) softball routed the visiting Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM), 19-11 in Saturday's league bout.

The Elks/Elkettes (10-16) will now prepare for their bout against Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM). The Sundevils go into the 4A District 2 bout with a 6-18 record. In their last bout, Espanola Valley was routed by Taos (Taos, NM), 6-2, in a league bout.

The Sundevils now possess a 6-20 record. They play next when they travel to Pojoaque Valley for a 4A District 2 bout on Saturday, May 4. Espanola Valley will confront a Elks/Elkettes squad coming off a 16-6 league win over Taos (Taos, NM). The Elks/Elkettes record now stands at 8-16.
